European road and rail construction experts celebrate the MAÚT anniversary with presentations

The MAÚT Magyar Út- és Vasútügyi Társaság, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is organising the MAÚT30 International Scientific Symposium with international and national speakers rarely heard in Hungary.   

Topics of the Budapest Scientific Conference on 1-2 October include: technical regulatory systems, climate check and decarbonisation, innovation that pays, social responsibility, circular economy, mobility technologies and sustainability.

Innovation and return on investment in construction

From the perspective of profitable innovation, the speakers will present the achievements in the fields of structural engineering, digitalisation, automation and artificial intelligence, but also the issues of road maintenance on Hungarian motorways.
Among the topics of the symposium, bridge construction in Hungary and concrete tunnel lining construction technologies in the Czech Republic will be presented.

Corporate social responsibility in the industry

The second day of the event will focus on social responsibility and sustainability. National and international speakers will address issues such as reducing noise and energy use, improving quality of life in cities by combining mobility technologies.

Professionals of the future also make their debut

As the closing event of the symposium, young people from the NextGen call will have the opportunity to speak, ensuring the support of young professionals and the presentation of future professionals.
A special feature of the event is that in addition to their home countries, international speakers will also participate in the symposium, representing European Union Agency for Railways, FSV Austria, TU Delft and Czech Technical University Prague, among others.
