New Sales and Strategy Director at KÉSZ Csoport
Róbert Barócsi has been working for KÉSZ Csoport since the beginning of his career, nearly 20 years ago. After studying abroad, he began his career as an intern in 2007. He began his many years of experience as a general contractor with planning coordination tasks at Ferihegy Airport, which he continued on the group's largest projects. From 2016, he was responsible for steel structure and then facade projects, working on almost all of the stadiums and halls. From 2017, he has been
As Head of Architecture and Structural Solutions, he coordinated the construction of the steel structures of the National Athletics Centre, which was hailed as a Hungarian engineering feat and won numerous international awards. Róbert Barócsi speaks 4 languages, so in addition to his domestic role, he has been and will continue to be responsible for supporting international expansion and sales activities.
With more than 4 decades of experience, KÉSZ Csoport operates in 5 European countries with more than 2500 employees. It is a leading player in Hungary in the fields of general contracting, engineering, architectural and structural solutions and industrial technologies, but also has interests in real estate and hotel management, energy and hydraulic engineering.

On KÉSZ Csoport's plans and strategy for the coming year, the appointed director said:"In addition to our major projects in Hungary, either completed or underway, which are showing impressive results in the automotive and supplier sectors, as well as in the pharmaceutical industry, we will place a strong focus on international expansion and business acquisition in 2025. We will enter new industries that will expand our portfolio and make better use of our capacities."
The new strategy director pointed out that the unique and comprehensive expertise within the group is also of value in the surrounding regions, based on feedback. Among the target areas, in addition to the company's very strong Romanian operations, he highlighted the DACH region, as well as its ambitions in the UK and Scandinavia, mentioning plans to enter the US market. The majority of the production capacity in Kecskemét and Székesfehérvár, around 80%, is currently serving export needs, with a focus on steel, facade and glass structures.
"In addition to our international successes, I hope that as the Hungarian construction industry slowly finds its feet, we will have the opportunity to prove ourselves in many projects at home.
