Here are the first plans of the new Újpest stadium

N Újpest FC has made public the visuals of its new stadium planned for 141 Fóti út: in a statement published on the phone app of the club, which has a long history in the first division Fizz League, they also summarized the background information about the complex, which is now presented in graphics and site plans.

The owner of Újpest FC, MOL-csoport, announced in May that it had signed a preliminary agreement to purchase the plot of land at 141 Fóti út. According to the plans, a complex sports park will be built on the site, which will include the new home of Újpest FC, expected to be completed in 2027 – m4sport.hu reviewed the information.

However, it was stressed that the "pictures published on Monday are basically for internal communication, decision-making and to facilitate the official process, so they cannot be considered final".

After 103 years, Újpest FC is moving from the Szusza Ferenc Stadium to its new location on the former Tungsram site. "In more than a century, Szusza Ferenc Stadium has reached the limits of its development, so if we want to meet the expectations of the 21st century, we need to build a completely new stadium."
