The four organically interconnected parts of the new Ecseri centre:

The modern facility was completed in one year

The new truck centre was built by Weinberg "93 Építő Kft., a company with 30 years of experience in the construction of industrial and commercial buildings. After the hot and cold cladding and the acoustic cladding, one of the most unique parts of the centre was completed: the glass-walled inner atrium and the balustrade. A spacious terrace with a green island has been created where clients and employees can relax under the shade of sun sails. János Borbély stressed that the building provides a spacious, bright working environment thanks to its glass surfaces, all of which can be shaded, making the building more economical to maintain.

Challenges have been turned into advantages

The Weinberg has been designed with a strong focus on reducing its ecological footprint. The tangible environmental awareness and maximum problem-solving shows how the contractor has turned challenges into benefits that have been put to the service of the project. For example, the high groundwater table was managed by installing a drainage system based on a concept agreed with the designers, and the water collected was used during construction. The soil excavated during the excavation work and stored in a depot could be reused for backfilling," the project manager explained.

When designing the facility, great care was taken to minimise the noise impact in each room, and this was achieved by selecting appropriate tools and equipment. During the construction phase, the contractor worked with Volvo's service technology department to ensure that the needs of the project were taken into account.

János Borbély mentioned as an interesting fact that within the construction area - but far enough away from the work site - a bank was created for the planing strips, where the birds could rest undisturbed.

An emotional chapter closes and opens with the inauguration of the new centre

New challenges and perspectives for Volvo Hungária Kft. employees at the new headquarters. Tamás Somogyi, service market and retail director of Volvo Hungária Kft. and head of the investment project in Ecseri told our portal that the company has been based in Cinkotai Road, District XVII, for 25 years.

However, our employees are even more excited about the completion of the new office building and service centre in the Ecser industrial park."

Tamás Somogyi added that the modern, ergonomic office building provides a comfortable working environment for those performing intellectual work, while the truck and bus service department uses state-of-the-art equipment to make work smooth and efficient. The new climate-neutral Truck Center will be the most modern Volvo Truck Centere in Central Europe. The new base, easily accessible to all, has been designed and built to bring employees and customers closer together, creating more efficient relationships.

The right environment for branding is in place

The company's staff will move into the new headquarters in September, after the inauguration ceremony in August. "In Ecser, customers will also be greeted by a number of new features. In addition to improved accessibility, the modern design and equipment of the site will provide them with a more interactive and higher quality service. The new customer lounge and waiting area, the comfortable training centre, the spacious and covered vehicle transfer room for new and used vehicles, the test lane, the truck wash, the organically connected offices and service lines will provide an environment in line with the high brand image of Volvo Trucks", enumerated Tamás Somogyi. The electric car and truck charging stations even offer the opportunity to create new business relationships while promoting climate neutrality.
