What is being built?
The bush has been put up on the 24 thousand square metre electric car production hall in the Northern Great Plain
On 17 November last year, the foundation stone was laid for the new production centre of Evoring Precision Manufacturing Kft, part of the Chinese Shuanghuan Driveline group, and the work site was handed over in March this year. Since then, the general contractor MERKBAU Zrt., the 24,000-square-metre centre, built on 10 hectares, has reached the structural completion stage, with the topping-out ceremony taking place on 2 September.
The project also includes the construction of the service buildings and infrastructure for the production centre, also undertaken by MERKBAU. In addition, emphasis was also placed on the afforestation of the site and the enhancement of green areas.
Construction near the motorway
The development, worth around HUF 39 billion in total (supported by the state to the tune of HUF 7 billion), will take place in the Jászfényszaru industrial park, where the company will produce gears and axles for electric cars in the new factory.
The base, located on the eastern border of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, near the M3 motorway, will serve brands such as Tesla, Volvo, Scania and ZF, and will create 450 new jobs.
Following centuries of tradition, they celebrated
This time, the contractors held a centuries-old tradition of celebrating the bushwalk, and made the day even more memorable with a joint reception and speeches. First, the bokreta that gives the holiday its name was put in place after a symbolic push of a button to start the raising was launched by Wu Changhong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the investor, Min Zhang Executive Director, Li Shuitu Chief Operating Officer, Jiang Yiqing Owner and Vice President of Sales, and Liu Xiaozhi Senior Advisor.
Built in a few months
Wu Changhong then welcomed the participants and recalled the groundbreaking ceremony. "In just a blink of an eye, we will witness the completion of the factory construction," he said, stressing that without the joint effort, the construction of the modern factory could not have been completed so efficiently in a few months.
Among other things, he thanked the state and the city for their contribution to the construction of the factory, and stressed that the fast and smooth construction of the factory would not have been possible without the fantastic work of the team of the general contractor MERKBAU and its project management partner DVM-Greenfield.
Evoring is welcome in Jászfényszaru
Jászság accounts for 70 percent of the county's economic strength, led by Jászfényszaru, said János Pócs, the region's MP, and thanked Mayor Márta Czeglédi Győriné for her strong support for the city's industrial park and the companies that are setting up there. At the end of his speech, he quoted Evoring's motto: One team, one passion, for a lifetime.
"God grant that it may be so!" - the MEP reflected on the sentence.
And as the mayor said, the speed of the project participants is very fast, even for an urban industrial park. He went on to wish the participants a project "the miracle of which will be admired throughout Europe and Hungary" and added that Jászfényszaru is delighted to welcome the Chinese investor.
It is the duty of the county government offices to help investments that come to Hungary as much as possible, said dr. Attila Berkó Mayor-General among others. He said that in his opinion, Shuanhuang Driveline was a good choice of location for its investment, as
Yasifloh has already shown many times how to work well with a world-famous company and how to achieve the best results.
Growing out of the ground at record speed
Attila Petróczy, Deputy Director of MERKBAU Zrt., recalled at the beginning of his speech that the company has already handed over hundreds of buildings in more than 30 years. "Of course, the best of these is always the one we are standing in", he added and underlined:
The hall in Jászfényszaru rose out of the ground at record speed.
He also said that a lot of work had gone into the bushwalk and expressed the hope that this would be met with satisfaction from the builders. He also expressed special thanks to the workers and the MERKBAU Zrt. manufacturing and professional construction departments, specifically listing
- the structural engineering business,
- the reinforcing steel and steel structures plant,
- the plant for the production of plastic and aluminium windows and doors,
- the electrical switchboard manufacturing plant,
- and the engineering and electrical company Merkbau.
He also highlighted the good working relationship with Evoring's management and the whole team and thanked them for their trust.
According to the tradition, the speeches were followed by the recitation of the bokreta poem by Zoltán Németh project leader, followed by the drinking of a toast to the builder and the clinking of glasses before the closing lunch.
