New Burger King opened near Lake Omsk

Burger King has opened its newest restaurant in Budakalász, its 59th in Hungary, according to a press release. Located in the Omsk Park neighbourhood, the new Burger King is the first drive-in restaurant in Hungary to be given the completely renewed "Pavilion" design.

They can accommodate more than 130 guests at a time

The newest addition to the restaurant chain offers 309.4 square metres of dining space and 87 square metres of terrace.

It seats a total of 132 guests, including 72 indoor and 60 outdoor seats. The restaurant also offers six self-service touch-screen kiosks for ordering, or you can place your order using a mobile app. The city, located in the agglomeration of Budapest, is an ideal location for the restaurant due to its dynamic development, central commercial role and excellent accessibility, they added.

Construction of the restaurant started in spring 2024 and was completed by January 2025.

Fusion Zrt. and the Municipality of Budakalász worked closely together on the project. The development was the result of the coordinated work of nearly 100 people.

The project not only increased local hospitality, but also contributed to the beautification of the park of the same name next to Lake Omsk: more than 170 trees were planted with the help of the Auchan and Fusion teams.

Construction work continues

Fusion Zrt. is planning further developments and is constantly looking for new locations for Burger King restaurants. The second restaurant in Székesfehérvár is already under construction, while in Budapest, in the Pólus Center, work has already started on a new unit.
