The capital of Lake Tisza can develop further with a bicycle track and a special water playground

Further improvements are planned for the public beach on the shore of Lake Tisza in Tiszafüred. Last November, we reported that a beach library, beach buffet and event space would be built as part of a 300 million forint investment under the TOP programme. According to public data, however, a conditional public procurement tender has also been announced for a land and water playground and a cycling track, also on the free beach.

The playground will also be a map of Lake Tisza

The general area, which is enclosed by a fence, will have 16 play elements, while the separate wet area will have 14 play elements - a total of 20 attractions. The playground will be covered with moulded rubber and will feature a map of Lake Tisza, including the towns, but also the main road 33 connecting Tiszafüred and Poroszlo.

The Electronic Public Procurement System also shows that the contractor is responsible for obtaining certification of the entire playground, the playground equipment and its installation, and the certification of the playground shock-absorbing surface.

Different track elements on the cycle track 

The traditional part of the playground will include a bird nest, while the wet area will include a water cannon, water gate, fountains and a water column that can be driven by bicycle. The project also includes the construction of a filtered water rotation system and a separate powerhouse - the latter to be designed to blend in with the rest of the building.

Another part of the project will include the construction of a cycle track in the undeveloped area in front of the beach, next to the Kikötő boulevard. The 270-metre-long circular track will have two access roads and will be equipped with different track elements - a downhill, uphill and wave line.
