The winner’s task is to design and construct over 30 kilometres of cycling infrastructure between Tiszafüred and Hortobágy.
The conditional public procurement for the investment, worth a gross of HUF 4.7 billion, has already started.
A handover ceremony was held for a project worth around half a billion forints.
The traditional part of the playground will include a bird nest, while the wet area will be equipped with a water gate, fountains and a water column that can be driven by bicycle.
There will be a beach library, a beach shop and a beach buffet, as well as an events area and a public toilet block.
Green spaces will be given over, roads will be renovated and a cycle path will be built.
The station is the public transport hub of Tiszafüred, with more than 40,000 passengers getting on and off in 2022.
