Tiszafüred's new swimming pool: two pools, gym and sauna

A new swimming pool may be built in Tiszafüred, on the Tarniczky promenade. The conditional tender for the project was published on 15 October in the EU public procurement bulletin . A day earlier, State Secretary for Architecture Regő Lánszki and Deputy State Secretary Zoltán Nyul provided information about the project, among other things, at a meeting of the city council.

According to szoljon.hu's report, Zoltán Nyul's speech revealed that the swimming pool, which is part of a 4.7 billion forint development project, will receive its occupancy permit in 2029 and will be used for teaching children to swim. He also said:

The new swimming pool will be built on an area of 1150 square metres and will be able to accommodate 120 athletes at a time, with a sauna and gym. The swimming pool will have two pools, one 16 and one 25 metres long, and two group changing rooms for men and women.

From the foundations to the construction of the swimming pool

According to the tender specifications, the building will have a useful floor area of around 2,460 square metres, and the winner will be responsible for the design and construction (using BIM methods for the design), as well as for the documentation required to obtain the building permits. The company or consortium will have 1095 days to complete the entire project.

A heat pump system will also be installed, and the entire swimming pool complex will be designed, as well as a parking area for guests on the Tarniczky Promenade site.
