A four-star hotel could complete the Várkertfürdő in Pápa
Pápai Termálvízhasznosító Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Zrt. has completed a conditional public procurement procedure for the construction of a new hotel. As a result of the procedure, VEMÉV-SZER Építő- és Szerelőipari Kft.- was announced as the winner of the contract – reports TED.
The value of the winning bid is 2.88 billion forints net. It is important to note, however, that the project is conditional, meaning that the actual start of construction is subject to the fulfilment of further conditions.

A 60-room, four-star hotel may be built on the development site next to the Várkertfürdő.
The scope of the works covers these
The project involves complex construction and specialist trade works. During the construction work, tasks will include earthworks, reinforced concrete structural work, bricklaying, roof construction, external and internal plastering, tiling, as well as thermal and waterproofing work. The building will also feature a significant number of doors and windows, steel and glass structures, and fitted furniture, as well as two lifts.
As part of the interior design works, the project will involve the provision of all furniture and fittings, including the fitting out of rooms and communal areas, as well as the fitting out of the sanitary facilities.
The works also include the complete installation of building electrical systems: a modern building management system (BMS), high- and low-voltage networks, lighting, fire alarm and security systems, as well as communications infrastructure.
The development also includes the creation of a pool technology unit, comprising a massage pool and the associated mechanical systems.
The project is not limited to the building itself; significant landscaping works are also being carried out, including site preparation, planting, the creation of green spaces, and the construction of fencing and paving.
