Esztergom's roads could improve a lot

The Esztergom Local Government has ordered the stabilisation of several roads, the renovation of the steps of the Basilica and the Stations of the Cross, as well as the construction of a sewage network on Magyary László Street, at a net cost of HUF 2.5 billion framework agreement worth a net value of HUF 2.5 billion, which was awarded to C-Sped 84 Kft. and STR Mély- és Magasépítő Kft..

Renovation of the basilica staircase and the downtown Calvary stairs

Earth and rock excavations include

• the scrub next to the stairs will be cleared 300 m²-en,
• to the new pavement 134,79 m³ lifting of the soil in the paved area by hand is required,
• and for the repair of the subgrade under the pavement, 46,08 m³ in quantity.

Stabilisation of broken roads

The winners will have to repair the gravel roads of Esztergom in several locations; in several places they will have to prepare a new, stable road surface by spreading a bitumen emulsion layer, together with the necessary drainage works, so that

• in Széchy Dénes street,
• on Duna street,
• in Oltóssy street,
• in the cemetery street,
• in Zamárd street,
• in Rétkerti-Cseresznyés street and
• in the Border Street.

Construction of wastewater network in Magyary László street

The contractor will be responsible for the construction of a sewer network (backbone network + house connections) along a length of approximately 300 metres on László Magyary Street in Esztergom. The new backbone sewer is planned to connect 15 residential properties. This will involve the restoration of the grass verge and the grass verge above it on the left bank of the St George's Ditch, including the removal of 20 metres of the bank railing.
