Road building
These are the three junctions to be renewed on the M0
The reconstruction of the road network continues. New sections of road surface are being replaced on the country's busiest roads, which carry the heaviest loads. According to the EU public procurement notice published in the EU public procurement notice, Magyar Közút Nzrt. has recently announced the winners of two related projects.
The renovation can be carried out under two contracts. In the first contract
- several on- and off-ramps of the M7 motorway and the M0 motorway junction connecting the capital with Lake Balaton;
- and the junction of the M0 motorway at km 2, Törökbálint, is being renovated by Colas Construction Zrt.
More than four kilometres of road will be resurfaced as part of the modernisation of the intersection of the priority road sections, at a net cost of around HUF 498 million.
The other contract concerns the interchange between the M5 motorway from Budapest to the Southern Great Plain and the M0 motorway. Here, too, Colas will carry out the renovation work: the work will be carried out directly on the M5 motorway and on the on- and off-ramps in five sections, covering a total length of around 1.2 km, at a net cost of HUF 97 million.
