As part of the development of the road network in the Great Plain, the pavement rehabilitation planning may also start on the section of the Acs-Bábolna transport corridor 8151 between sections 5+300 - 6+350 km.
The length affected by the improvements is 6351 metres. The engineering and design tasks will be carried out by a consortium of UTIBER Közúti Beruházó Kft. and PARTNER Mérnöki Iroda Kft., according to the notice.

A busy intersection can become safer

The development of the road network around Devecser may also enter the planning phase. According to the tender, the work to be carried out is the design of a traffic light junction at Devecser on the 92+178 km section of the main road No 8 Székesfehérvár - Jánosháza - Rábafüzes.

The development will make it safer to cross the busy junction of the main road 8, the 7324 road between Devecser and Sümeg and the 8402 road between Devecser and Pápa in Devecser. The new junction is being designed by TURA-Terv and Via Futura Kft..

A new traffic junction could be built near Gyál

Planning work can also start in Pest county. Here, the experts have to make a busy junction on the outskirts of Gyál safer. According to the call for tenders, the two roads concerned will be the 4601 between Budapest and Tiszakécske and the 4602 linking Vecsést and Alsónémedi.

The two corridors will meet near Gyál, at a so-called offset junction, and the tender specifications will require the design of a new intersection with two traffic lights. TURA-Terv Engineering Office Ltd and Via Futura Kft. have been awarded the contract to prepare the designs and the necessary additional documentation.

New road to be built at Szeged Industrial Park

The notice also includes the design of the access roads to the Szeged Industrial Park. The successful tenderer SPECIÁLTERV Kft. will have to prepare plans for a 2×2 lane extension of the 502 main road on a new route up to the 4519 road.

The new route must be designed to ensure safe conditions for both cyclists and pedestrians. The future road will be about 6.8 kilometres long.
According to the notice, the design and engineering works for the above projects will be carried out with a budget of approximately HUF 330 million.
