Work is currently underway on the construction of a grade-separated junction between the two motorways.

Significant progress has been made on the M1 motorway and the planned M100 expressway – in the vicinity of Bicske and Mány – all of which is being carried out by MKIF Magyar Koncessziós Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő Zrt. new Facebook post reveals.

The company is responsible for the construction of the grade-separated junction between the two motorways as part of the project taking place between kilometres 30 and 33 of the M1 motorway. MKIF Zrt. is responsible for constructing the grade-separated junction between the two expressways.

 

 

The construction of the M100 road is not the responsibility of MKIF

According to the company

Work is currently underway on the concreting of the abutments and the pillars of the central reservation; in addition, experts are carrying out earthworks, ground stabilisation and further test piling work.

In the MKIF report, recent footage—some of which was captured by drone—revealed spectacular details of the junction’s construction, which are not always visible when travelling along the motorway.

It is important to note that the construction of the M100 road linking Esztergom to the M1 motorway is not the responsibility of MKIF; however, the company is responsible for designing the junction between the two roads.
