The team working on project MKIF is currently carrying out material delivery and embankment construction.

Material delivery, embankment construction and surveying are currently underway at the site of the new service area to be built on the M4 motorway near Monor. Thanks to the work of MKIF, a service area equipped with an occupancy indicator is being built, which will provide parking for 30 lorries, 5 buses and 34 cars on each side; three of the parking spaces designated for cars will also be accessible to people with disabilities.

Although preparatory work is still visible, construction of the lorry park on the side leading towards Szolnok is already underway.

A family-friendly rest area is being created, where visitors will find modern garden furniture, a fitness park and a playground.

We are creating a total of 37,000 square metres of green space on either side of the rest area, and will be planting more than 230 trees and 13,000 container-grown shrubs. As with our other rest areas, we will also provide separate waste collection here – they wrote their social media page.

The rest area is expected to be completed by August 2027.
