Sport, competitions and donations for the professional community

It has become a tradition to organize the most prestigious sporting event of the construction industry, the Builders' Cup and Family Day, which this year took place on Saturday, October 7, at the IKARUS BSE Sports Park in the XVI district of the capital. In the early morning, the weather was still chilly, but for the rest of the day everyone enjoyed the unseasonably warm October weather. The aim of the event was for company employees to get to know and strengthen the professional community in the construction industry, as well as to relax. It is an experience that will help to strengthen the unity of the sector.

Although developments in the construction industry depend on numerous factors, mutual support can give the entire sector strength and the opportunity to assert its interests, as it is much easier to overcome difficulties together. The Magyar Építő Zrt. considers these events important, as they not only allow the company's employees to participate in a kind of team building, but also enable employees from other companies to meet each other in a more informal setting at a pleasant event.

Charity in the spotlight

The event, held under the patronage of Regő Lánszki, State Secretary of State for Architecture and National Architect (ÉKM), also included a football tournament and a cooking competition, as well as a charity fundraiser. This year, donations were collected for the Bethesda Hospital Foundation.

The Magyar Építő Zrt. also did its bit for charity: it donated one million forints to the children's hospital.

The interest in the tournament is reflected in the fact that 32 companies entered the competition, with Magyar Építő Zrt.'s football team competing for the third time, while their cooking team - which prepared pumpkin cream soup, brown beer wild ragout and three different desserts for the attendees - took part for the second time.
