The competition for the title of Professional of the Year is on

The Professional of the Year award aims to recognise outstanding professionals who set an example and inspire future generations through their work. Active bricklayers and tilers who work independently or as part of a team of up to three contractors are eligible to apply. The competition is organised in several categories, including residential projects, non-residential projects, tiling with large slabs, the construction of swimming pools and wellness facilities, and the work of young professionals, according to the announcement by Mapei Kft..

"There is a growing need to recognise excellence in the construction industry. This is key to keeping the profession attractive to younger generations, ensuring continuous development and innovation. This is why the early career category is particularly important for us, as it is a way of giving young professionals a chance to showcase their skills."

The prize is awarded to professionals with experience in the construction industry

He added that quality construction is a worthwhile investment because well-designed buildings are not only durable, but also reduce future maintenance costs and increase the value of the property, thus providing economic benefits.

To enter the competition, please visit the official competition website, fill in the entry form and upload photos of your work. Winners will receive a valuable prize. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts and the shortlisted entries will be voted for by members of the 1TP1065Industry Professional Community to select the winners in each category.
