Four awards for the BEM project in one week: Market wins professional acclaim

In one week, the BEM Center Office Building and the Kimpton BEM Budapest Hotel recognise the professional achievements of their creators and the high quality of complex real estate development in the capital. The building complex recently won a special award at the 26th Hungarian Real Estate Development Awards, and on 28 November, it swept the board in three categories at the Portfolio Property Awards awards ceremony, according to information sent to our newspaper.

With the rebirth of the classicist-style Radetzky Barracks on Bem Square in Budapest, a modern building complex has been created in every respect in the 21st century, in the design of Market Építő Zrt. and the development of Market Asset Management Zrt.. The modernity of the building complex – in addition to its design, for example, the green solutions used in its operation – has made it recognised and popular among both architects and existing and potential tenants. This is also demonstrated by the awards that Market Asset Management Zrt. has won in recent days.

The project received a special prize at the first gala, and three prizes at the next one.

On 26 November, the virtues of real estate development were also rewarded by the jury delegated by FIABCI Hungary, the Hungarian Real Estate Association and Europa Design, which awarded BEM Center Office Building and Kimpton BEM Budapest Hotel the special prize of ÉVOSZ at the XXVI Hungarian Real Estate Development Excellence Awards.

Equally, the Portfolio Property Awards awards, now in their fifteenth year, recognise the excellence of the investment and are awarded to the most outstanding and significant real estate projects and transactions of the year. This year, the jury of ten live and forty online professionals has selected Market Csoport member Market Asset Management Zrt. as the best in three categories. The company also beat the field in the Office Development of the Year, Office Leasing Transaction of the Year and Hotel Project of the Year categories this year, they point out.
