The first phase of the sustainable development, Le Jardin, will be inaugurated in the second half of 2024.

It has reached its highest point at WING Living brand's greenest residential development to date, the first phase of the project named Le Jardin, located on Rozsnyay Street in the 13th district, has reached its highest point, according to a statement from the developer.

The 165-unit residential park is being built next to the Rákos Stream, in a green area. The general construction is being carried out by NEO Property Services . Construction is progressing according to schedule, with the first phase expected to be completed in the second half of 2024.

The first phase of the AA+ residential building will consist of 165 apartments and will be built using environmentally friendly solutions throughout the project. As the French word "le jardin" means "garden", the complex is located in a quiet, idyllic setting, surrounded on all sides by gardens.

Both passive and active sustainable solutions are used

During the implementation of the project

the building will have a heat pump to provide heating and hot water,
a ceiling heating system is being developed,
and the walls of the building are insulated to an outstanding thickness, typically 15 cm.

The buildings have a north-south axis, so the facades are oriented east-west, which promotes solar heat gain, which can lower annual heating costs.

A green garden on the ground and first floor of the building will help to improve the microclimate, making the environment more homely, reducing noise pollution, cooling the spaces and improving air quality.

"In the development of Le Jardin, we have made every effort to serve the needs of the residents at the highest level and quality in the spirit of sustainability. This is why the complex is fully characterised by renewable energy based engineering solutions, environmentally conscious use of materials, selective waste management, environmentally conscious water use and rainwater recycling. The green solutions also bring additional benefits: for example, the façade windows are made with 3-layer glazing, so the annual cooling and heating costs for prospective tenants can be much lower compared to a conventional design apartment", stressed János Martin, Deputy CEO of WING and Director of the Residential Business Unit of LIVING.

In Kertváros, but close to Váci út

The residential complex Le Jardin is located in the suburbs, in a green park environment, in Rozsnyay Street, District 13. Thanks to its proximity to Váci út, it has good transport infrastructure: the city centre is easily accessible by car and public transport (M3, tram 14, bus 105). Cycling will also be provided: a completely separate cycle path runs close to the complex.

There will be a direct access from the building to the Rákos stream, and on the other side of the stream there will be a renovated park, which will be directly accessible to residents thanks to a new pedestrian bridge.
