Székesfehérvár is getting not only a sports hall, but also an event centre.

The Alba Arena in Székesfehérvár has been under construction for almost two years now as part of the general construction of the Market Építő Zrt. has been under construction for almost two years now, and the exterior of the Alba Arena in Székesfehérvár is already taking shape: the spectacular roofing elements were installed during the summer.

Several member companies and strategic partners of KÉSZ Csoport also played a significant role in the work: they were contracted to design, manufacture and implement the steel roof structure and special sheet metal cladding. The subsidiary of Market, Moratus Kft., while HBM Kft. was responsible for the complex civil engineering tasks. The building was designed by architects Tarnóczky Tamás Attila and Balázs Mihály.

From the outset, the construction has been continuously documented in numerous articles and on-site reports, and now it is nearing completion: the Alba Arena is scheduled to be handed over by the end of the year. Recently, Tamás Vargha, Member of Parliament for Székesfehérvár and Deputy Minister of Defence published photos of the development following a tour and reported that the project is progressing according to plan.

The Alba Arena will be the future home of the Hydro Fehérvár AV19 ice hockey team and will serve as an event and community centre. It will also be able to host 20 to 25 indoor sports in addition to the sport of ice hockey in Fehérvár and Hungary, and will be able to accommodate up to 6,000 spectators at times. The capacity of the hall is up to 6,000 people for hockey matches and up to 8,000 for concerts and other events.
