New homes built in a vibrant neighbourhood in Zalaegerszeg

Published

Thirty apartments of various sizes have been added to the Kerámia Housing Park in the centre of Zala County, built by ZÁÉV Zrt..

Phase III of the Kerámia Lakópark development in Zalaegerszeg is nearing completion, with work now 70 per cent complete. The ZÁÉV is being built on a fenced-off site with an electric gate and boasts an excellent location. The town centre and the popular Vizsla Park are within walking distance for new residents, and there are sports and leisure facilities available in the surrounding area.

Two blocks of flats have already been built in the previous phase of the Ceramia Street real estate investment. The construction of the third phase of the project started in early 2023, with 30 new homes in two additional blocks, Krisztián Mihócs, project manager of ZÁÉV, told our portal. The basement of the building, which has two staircases with lifts, is equipped with a garage, a mezzanine floor and three additional floors.

One, two and three bedroom apartments

The two new blocks will have four apartments of different sizes per floor: two smaller and two larger. The first two are 48 and 51 square metres in size, with a spacious living room, a bedroom and a terrace of almost 25 square metres. The two larger apartments have a floor area of over 60 square metres, with two bedrooms in addition to the living room. Each of the two sky-view apartments has a terrace.

On the fourth floor of Block C, a three-bedroom penthouse apartment of over 90 square metres has been created, each with a view of three cardinal points.
Above the garage level between the two new buildings, a rooftop terrace and roof garden will serve to refresh the residents of the complex. Parking will be provided by a basement garage and surface parking.

Soundproof walls ensure the intimacy of homes

The building is of reinforced concrete frame construction, with reinforced concrete and brick walls. The project manager also explained that the walls between the apartments are made of sound-absorbing ceramic masonry. The floor sockets are covered with an acoustic separation layer.
The heating and hot water supply of the building is provided by an energy-saving system - air-to-water heat pumps and condensing gas boilers. All apartments are equipped with individual heat meters and can be independently controlled by a thermostat.

The apartments are built with an excellent A+ energy rating. The air is extracted in the bathrooms, toilets and utility rooms through individual fans, which are exhausted to the roof through a collector. The air is supplied through gaps between the doors of the rooms and the floor, and ultimately to the dwelling as a whole through air inlet elements in the windows of the living and bedroom rooms.
