The call for tenders for the development of the Anatomy Building at Semmelweis University was published on TED. The energy efficiency improvement of the building will be carried out under the RRF - European Union Recovery and Resilience Instrument programme, according to the call for tenders.
Ensure proper operation at all times
According to the description, the Anatomy Building of the Institute of Anatomy, Tissue and Developmental Sciences of Semmelweis University is located in Tűzoltó Street in the IX district of Budapest. The investment will include the renovation, extension and modernisation of the building, as well as energy efficiency improvements.
In the public procurement notice, it is pointed out that the building is protected and that the works must be carried out in a timely manner to ensure proper operation.
The garden and internal road network will also be renewed
The text also gives details of the alterations: the centre will have a 2nd floor and a 3rd floor loft conversion on the top floor. New teaching and dissecting rooms will be built on all three floors of the wings, and the 3rd floor dissecting rooms will be renovated.
Two existing lifts will be raised and one will be demolished. In addition, the roofing and facades will be renewed, as will the building services and fire protection system. The heating and cooling system will be supplied by a ground-supply system in the courtyard.
The building on the west side of the building will be demolished and replaced by a new service building. The internal garden and road network will also be renovated.
