The new Linde + Wiemann site is located in the immediate vicinity of the Mercedes factory in the VGP urban industrial-logistics park.

The new 16 000 m2 site of the German automotive structural components manufacturer Linde + Wiemann was inaugurated in the VGP Park in Kecskemét, Hungary, the real estate service provider said in a statement. The building was designed for manufacturing and warehousing activities and was handed over with several special architectural and technical solutions. VGP has also provided a tunnel to facilitate the loading of goods.

Located in the southern industrial area of Kecskemét, approximately 5 km from the M5 motorway, the industrial park is an important transport route to south-eastern European countries. Mercedes is the region's most important employer, but there are also numerous other automotive companies in the city. The park is located near the Mercedes factory, where high-quality infrastructure and public transport are available.

The insulation of the new LINDE + WIEMANN building has been given special attention and is currently awaiting certification for BREEAM Very Good. The supporting structure, the building's foundation and the flooring have been designed explicitly to meet the requirements of the German automotive manufacturer. The building is lit by LED lights and the car park is equipped with electric chargers. It is planned to extend the site by a further 16 000 m2 in the future.
