Huge Hungarian hotel investment to be completed in Hévíz by spring 2025

A large-scale development is underway in Hévíz, with a specially designed, premium hotel being built at a cost of approximately 34 billion forints , according to a statement from the Hungarian consortium behind the development, quoted by hirbalaton.hu here. As they write, 23.48% of the total cost of the investment was supported by the Kisfaludy Tourism Development Programme.

The hotel will be built on 3.39 hectares of land and will feature unique architecture and modern infrastructure. Construction is currently in its second phase and is on schedule. The hotel will open its doors to guests in spring 2025.

The six-storey hotel complex will offer an outstanding spa experience, with three huge sauna worlds, a Balinese spa, a private spa, a kids spa and a hamam (a traditional Turkish bath).

285 rooms and suites built

The hotel will have a total of 285 rooms and suites, with penthouse suites, an infinity pool and a rooftop restaurant and bar on the top floor, unique in Hungary.

The hotel has been given the French-sounding name Le Primore. The hotel's logo includes symbols typical of the region, such as the green colour on the neck of a wild duck, the water lily and the double W from the old name of Hévíz (Hewyz).

Domestic owners behind the project

As the announcement reveals, the final ownership is a 100 percent Hungarian consortium, led by Dr. János Varga, CEO. The opening of the spa hotel will create more than 300 new jobs and is expected to increase tourism revenues in the Hévíz region. It is also intended as an ideal venue for international conferences, events and exclusive functions, creating an additional source of revenue for the local economy, they add.
