The five-star hotel and the adjacent office building, which were built by Market, have won professional acclaim.

It presents the convergence of history and modern design in its video shared on social media, in which it presents one of its most significant projects completed last year. The former Radetzky barracks have been reborn as a luxury hotel in Bem Square in downtown Buda: our newspaper has reported several times on the construction of Kimpton BEM Budapest Hotel, as well as on the parallel development of the BEM Center Office Building in its neighbourhood.

The best building practices were needed

The project has restored a neoclassical building dating from 1840, which has undergone inappropriate interventions in the 20th century and has been in a state of dilapidation in recent years. This was remedied by the development of Market Asset Management Zrt., which was carried out by Market Építő.

Commenting on the video showing the construction process, Market Építő emphasized that the best construction practices were applied in every detail of the project to create a unique building worthy of Budapest's cityscape.

The distinctive Hungarian symbols are also present in the award-winning building

Our newspaper reported in detail on the renovation of the historic façade when it became visible again after the scaffolding was removed: in our article we presented the characteristics of the façade decorations and mouldings, as well as the difficulties associated with the reconstruction.

We also wrote about the interior design concept of the 127-room boutique hotel. showcasing a blend of classic and contemporary features. In addition, characteristic Hungarian motifs such as poppies, tulips and even the legendary miracle deer can be seen throughout the hotel.

In light of the above, it is not surprising that Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant, the first five-star luxury lifestyle hotel in Hungary, and the Bem Centre Office Building have earned recognition from the industry. In December, we reported that the complex had received four awards in one week: in addition to the special prize in the Hungarian Real Estate Development Quality Award competition, it also won in three categories at the Porfolio Property Awards awards ceremony.
