New store reopened in Soroksár

Energy efficiency has been a key focus of the work.

JYSK's Soroksár store has been renovated, according to a newsletter from the Scandinavian-rooted chain. At the same time, the multinational, which has 101 stores in Hungary, opened a total of three stores on 5 March with renewed renovations: in addition to Soroksár, Nyíregyháza and Balatonlelle were also upgraded.

According to the announcement, the more than 950 square metre Soroksár store now represents the state-of-the-art 3.0 concept of JYSK. This has been reflected in new lighting and easier navigation between the aisles.

Significant savings from intermittent lighting

During the works, special attention was paid to energy efficiency, for example by replacing light bulbs with LEDs and installing motion detectors in the social rooms. As part of the new concept, the lighting in the stores can be switched on in 3 phases, allowing the same shopping experience with less light, while reducing the energy consumption of the store lighting by at least 25%.

According to the news, as a sleep expert, JYSK also offers a dedicated mattress studio where customers can not only get advice but also try out the products in a home-like environment.
