New floor to be built for the mayor's office in the Pest county town

The development of the Human Services Centre in Sülysáp has begun after the local government of the town east of Budapesttpl won a HUF 400 million non-refundable EU grant for the project, the local government said in a press release.

The project involves the extension of the Szent István Square building of the sülysáp mayor's office with the construction of a new floor and interior renovation. The work will be carried out by PMG Építőipari Kft., the successful tenderer in the public procurement procedure. The most advantageous, and therefore the winning, bid for the construction work is HUF 278 448 989 net. The works are expected to be completed in the last quarter of 2025.

The current ground floor of the Mayor's Office building has a useful floor area of 585 m2. 

• on the one hand, a large archive will be set up on the ground floor,
• and a new entrance, 
• which will be accessible from a separate customer car park, 
• and next to it, the staircase and the lift will be built to ensure accessibility, for a total of about 65 m2.
• The newly built first floor will be 352 m2.

The project will expand family and child welfare and home help services in Sülysáp, and introduce a new service, neglect counselling.
