129 years in the service of children's health

In Budapest, the name Tűzoltó Street is almost synonymous with paediatrics. In 1896 the White Cross Society Children's Hospital was opened. The surrounding streets are home to several units of the SOTE Children's Hospital, including Hungary's largest paediatric oncology department.

New insulation systems for buildings

The building on Lily Street has a total useful floor area of 8352 m2, while the building on Angel Street has a total useful floor area of 1318 m2. The former block, in fact, consists of three buildings connected by a corridor to the ambulance. Of the three units, the works to be carried out in building A include waterproofing the basement and renovating the façade walls. In part B of the building group, nearly 1700 m2 of façade insulation will be carried out. The façade and roof insulation of part C of the building will be renewed.

The air handling system in the intensive care unit will also be renewed

The building of the Outpatient Clinic will be extensively modernised, the attic slab and the façade will be insulated, the thermal insulation of the flat roof will be modernised and the waterproofing will be upgraded. The ventilation system in the intensive care unit will be upgraded and the lighting in the building, which covers more than 8,000 m², will be renewed.
