Délút Kft., a road and public works contractor in Algyő, has modernised its construction technology with the purchase of new machinery and an investment of HUF 553 million with EU support, the company informed MTI.

The new buildings will be heated and cooled by a heat pump system

In the course of the development, the company installed new equipment for earthworks, utilities and road construction, the cost of which was covered by a conditional grant of around HUF 388 million.

Four different types of machines for compacting surfaces and materials have been purchased, which can collect data in real time on the current state of the soil or asphalt. They also purchased a machine for spreading asphalt and concrete layers, which can change the thickness of the material laid, among other things, based on digital files of the plans.

At the company's Algyő site, they have built a parts warehouse and a tyre service centre, where they carry out full tyre repairs for external customers in addition to their own vehicles. A new service building was also completed, doubling the company's maintenance capacity. The buildings are heated and cooled by a modern heat pump system.
