HE-DO worked on about 22 kilometres of roads 25 and 2506 for Magyar Közút, with KM Építő also contributing as a subcontractor.

Following on from 1984, Szilvásvárad will once again host the World Four-in-Hand Driving Championships between 4 and 8 September this year. In connection with this, the HE-DO has renovated a 22-kilometre stretch of road on behalf of Magyar Közút Nzrt. and subcontracted by KM Építő Kft. from Felnémet to Szilvásvárad:

  • Highway 25 between sections 19+745-27+668 km,
  • and the Szarvaskő-Vadna link road 2506 between sections 0+000-13+635 km.

As part of the renovation works, the specialists took care of the profiling of the existing pavement, the replacement of the entire track structure in the necessary places, on a total surface of 6800 square metres, and in the final phase, an asphalt wearing course and new floor were built over the entire surface.

In total, 23 thousand tonnes of asphalt were paved during the works. In addition to the pavement, a number of improvements have been made, including the painting of new permanent pavement signs and the replacement of KRESZ signs around the bridges. The project also included the use of new technologies, according to the Magyar Közút press release.

At the handover ceremony, Péter Ágh, Secretary of State of Építési és Közlekedési Minisztérium, Gábor Pajtók and László Horváth, Members of Parliament, and Csaba Mikesz, Deputy Chief Technical Officer of Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt., gave speeches. Also present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Tamás Dobróka, owner of HE-DO, Zoltán Szabó, Director of Magyar Közút Heves County, and Dávid Cseri, Director of the State Stud Farm in Silvásvárad.
