Help from the Duna Bonum makes the work of the Tiszakécske paramedics more efficient

Duna Bonum Alapítvány supported the National Ambulance Service's ambulance station in Tiszakécsek with the purchase of so-called patient monitoring devices. The two Edan IM20 devices, delivered on 7 December, are worth HUF 1 million each.

At the handover of the donations in Tiszakécsek, the chief paramedic officer of Bács Kiskun county said that the devices continuously monitor the basic parameters of the patient even during the patient transport.

"This allows paramedics to monitor the patient's condition at all times. We owe a big thank you to the donors for helping us with the devices"

- said Mihály Horváth.

As spokesperson for Duna Bonum Alapítvány, Dr. Barna Ónodi first conveyed the gratitude of László Szíjj, owner of the foundation, in recognition of the dedicated work of the Tiszakécske paramedics. He particularly emphasised the local patriotism of the owner of Duna Csoport, who has roots in Tiszakécske. „When the idea of supporting the local ambulance station came up, he immediately asked us to contact the managers and assess what was most needed. Based on their feedback, we were able to make a decision about the support.”

He added that Duna Bonum Alapítvány has a constant objective to support activities related to health, child protection and sports, and the donation just made fits well into this strategy.
