The Infotér ConTech Conference welcomes the cream of the construction industry to Balatonfüred

The Infotér ConTech Conference will be held in Balatonfüred on 15 October. The media sponsor of the event organised by the Infotér Association is the construction industry news portal Magyar Építők.

They talk through the path of development in a wide variety of fields

According to its website website, the event comprehensively covers the areas of construction, strategy, innovation and digitalisation, with the aim of filling a gap: „There is no comprehensive conference on construction strategy, innovation and digitalisation in Hungary that brings together all the players in the construction sector,” reads the announcement.

The stated aim of the meeting is to promote the development of the construction sector by discussing how different government, public administration, industry and civil society actors can contribute to the development of the sector. "Whether it is the efficiency of the construction industry, the proper functioning of the education and research sector, construction professionals or even the Hungarian construction materials industry and start-ups."

AI solutions for the construction industry and the new law among the topics

The largest event of the infocommunications sector will be held at the new Balatonfüred Congress Centre, with around 500-600 participants planned.

The conference programme is also available on the event website, including

  • the Hungarian Architecture Act,
  • AI solutions for the construction industry,
  • employment and training challenges in the construction sector,
  • the role of BIM,
  • zero-emission technologies for the construction industry,
  • and the production of building materials in Hungary will also be the subject of presentations and round tables.

The target audience of the event is also explained in detail: construction designers, contractors, operators, construction technology and IT solution providers, construction raw material manufacturers, real estate developers, clients, start-ups, seed companies, construction experts, public authorities, NGOs, leaders of educational institutions, students and pupils are among the groups to be addressed.

Women are also recognised for excellence in the profession

A special feature of the conference will be the awarding of prizes to young, innovative professionals and female construction experts.

According to the brochure, the Women in Construction Excellence Awards aim to recognise and promote excellence in the construction industry; to strengthen gender equality; and to provide role models for younger generations, inspiring them in their career choices.
