Best marketers in the construction industry honoured for the first time

In 2024, for the first time, the Építési Vállalkozók Országos Szakszövetsége (ÉVOSZ) Media Awards were held to recognise the most outstanding professionals and projects in the field of construction communication and social engagement.

The marketing communication of the construction industry is becoming more and more important in the sector, as it plays a role not only in strengthening the relations between the industry players, but also in improving the social image of the construction industry - said Péter Kincses, head of the Media Department of ÉVOSZ.

A successful year for the chapter

2024 has been a particularly active year for the Media Academy.

• Successfully organised in March their first marketing communications conference, where eminent professionals from the industry shared their experiences.
• Several podcasts have been produced on current issues and trends in the industry.
• They have strengthened the links between construction communication actors through professional visits.

With this award ceremony, the ÉVOSZ Media Division has taken an important step in recognising the communication and social responsibility of the construction industry. The awards are also an incentive for the further development of the industry's players," concluded the Head of the Media Unit.

Construction Markething Communications Person of the Year Award

Silvia Mészáros (Mapei Kft.) won the award for her outstanding professional work and exemplary achievements in the field of marketing communication in the construction industry. Construction Marketing Campaign of the Year Award

Újház Piramis Építőház Kft. , for its complex marketing communication solutions for the energy renovation of family homes under the state-subsidised home renovation programme.

The Szabadics Zrt. and Market Építő Zrt. earned their distinction.

The Szabadics Zrt. has won the SZABADICS RIDE programme, which has been held annually since 2017. "The amateur cycling event not only aims to promote sport and a healthy lifestyle among workers, but also builds community and team cohesion, thus setting an example in the field of social responsibility in the construction industry"

The Market Építő Zrt. earned the award with the ROM Vándor programme. "Through this initiative, the company is making a significant contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage and the creation of community value, a unique program."

Unique national recognition

The awards are unique in the Hungarian construction industry, with no previous example of construction communication professionals being recognised in this way in the country. These inspiring examples show that the construction industry is not only an economically dominant sector, but also plays an important role in terms of social responsibility and innovation.
