A brilliant victory inaugurated the new multifunctional hall of Székesfehérvár

The Alba Arena in Székesfehérvár was inaugurated with a victory by the Hungarian men's ice hockey team. In the sold-out facility, built by Market Építő Zrt. At the opening ceremony, Mayor András Cser-Palkovics thanked all those who have contributed to the construction and inauguration of the new arena in recent years. In his speech, Ádám Schmidt, State Secretary for Sport, underlined the contribution of the Mayor of Cser-Parkal Park, Mr. Gábor Ocskay, who has done a lot for the revival of ice hockey in Fehérvár, and through his work a dream has come true, the team has won Hungarian championships, is part of international competitions, and now, 16 years after the heroes of Sapporo have been promoted, the national team can play in this beautiful facility.

The Alba Arena, built with government support of nearly HUF 46 billion, has a net floor area of 22,000 square metres and was built as a multifunctional event and sports hall with a capacity of 6,000 seats. It will also be able to host concerts, the latter with a capacity of 8,000 seats. The four floors of the facility include offices, service areas, a restaurant and an event hall. It is planned to make the ice surface available all year round, and if it is used by other sports or for other types of events, it will be covered with a thermal insulation layer.
