Dryvit Profi, located in the centre of the county town, has also renovated 34 classrooms in the institution.

New classrooms, offices and a common room have been built on the top floor of the newly constructed Kölcsey Ferenc Reformed Primary School in Debrecen, according to the project contractor Dryvit Profi Kft. Facebook post. Thanks to the 600 m2 extension designed by András Tisza, new classrooms have been completed.

  • with acoustic suspended ceiling,
  • with cooling,
  • with remote-controlled shading
  • and state-of-the-art windows and doors.

No disruption to school education

The project initially seemed to be a simple floor reconstruction, but the company's professional team had to face numerous complicating factors and challenges - said Project Manager Zita Tóth-Szilágyi, and pointed out:

"even setting up the crane in the confined and traffic-limited area of the city centre was not an easy task, and the works had to be carried out for a year without disturbing pedestrian and vehicular traffic or the school's education".

He added: last year, as part of the infrastructural development of the institution, Dryvit Profi renovated 34 classrooms in a separate project, simultaneously with the construction of the new floor, on a total area of 2,000 m2.

The largest school in the diocese

At the inauguration ceremony, Bishop Károly Fekete emphasized that the school is the most populous educational institution of the Reformed Diocese of Tiszántúli, and as it is a practicing school, this also determines its quality. For quality education, classrooms are needed that are also adapted to today's needs, he stressed.

The new level will be open to students in autumn 2024.
