The construction of the GP4 hall at the VELUX Magyarország Kft. site in Infőszentmiklós has reached the final stage, magyarepitok.hu reported.

As we have reported in several articles, WHB Group is involved in several projects of a multinational group of companies producing roof windows:

• in addition to the GP4 hall, the Hungarian company is also carrying out the reconstruction work on the 26-year-old L5 building at the Infodija site and its redevelopment to match the change of function;
• the same project also included the connection of the P3 production hall to a new building in Fertőd;
• also in the largest logistics and distribution centre in Central Europe, VELUX, the warehouse LB5 and the two-storey service building were completed, which was handed over on 17 June.

The GP4 hall project under consideration will consist of a 14,000 square metre hall building and a two-storey head building of approximately 500 square metres. The project will also include the construction of a fuel water reservoir pond, with a park in its surroundings.

The industrial gates and the building services have also been completed

According to our newspaper, the architectural work in the three naves of the GP4 hall has been completed, the mechanical installation has been completed and the pipe insulation work is currently underway. Also in relation to the hall building, the facade works have been completed, as well as the installation of windows and industrial doors.

The canopies, the loading bay and the main building are also at an advanced stage of completion

The report also revealed that Mischke Lakatos Kft., also belonging to the WHB group, has recently built the two canopies and the steel structure of the covered loading bay. The fire-retardant painting and the plating of these were completed by the end of June.

The specialist contractor was called in early July to work on the corroded sheet metal and composite cladding of the main building.

Construction must also be coordinated with the renewed image

The district heating network connecting the boiler room and the four heat centres of the building, and the associated installation of the hall heat centres, have now been completed. Utility works have also been completed, road construction is underway and curbing works will start soon.

The interior works on the two social blocks and the main building are scheduled to start in July. The architectural facelift of the VELUX Magyarország Kft. buildings is currently underway and it was necessary to wait for the new interior designs, which have been finalised in recent days.
