A ferry route is built on the border between two counties

The new transport corridor will follow the 5408 road, which runs through Üllés and is its main road, and will connect to an existing section ending at the forest school on the outskirts of the village.

The new road will be built up to the county border

Many people cycle in the area and there are many farms along the road, so the development will make life easier and safer for many. The inhabitants of the village in Csongrád county also like to ride their bikes in their free time and regularly organise cycling tours around the village.

The 2,896-metre-long, two-way, rural cycle path will be built by Domaszék-based P+P Gép Kft., which was awarded the contract, according to the announcement published in the public procurement database.

The width of the cycle path will be different

The cycle path will be built in the countryside, with several farms on both sides of the road. There is street lighting along a section of the road. The first phase of the project will be a local public road cycle route between km 0+000.00 and km 2+895.71.

The cycle path will be built in different widths to suit the existing conditions. It is planned that cyclists will be able to use a 2.55-metre wide path for 1908 metres and a further 989 metres and 71 metres respectively.
