With the HUF 420 million investment, Keszthely is fulfilling an old demand.

A new day nursery will be built in Keszthely, for the construction of which the city has won HUF 420 million, the local government announced on 13 August. The municipality will receive 100 per cent aid from Hungary's Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRF).

Keszthely currently has a municipally owned day nursery with 72 places, but the lack of places has made it necessary to build a new facility.

Large glass surfaces, natural light

The new day nursery in Kísérleti utca will have two classrooms with a large glass area and a covered terrace connected to the garden area, with a total capacity of 28 children.

The investment includes the creation of a playground, the installation of courtyard games, a play gate, and the purchase of interior furniture and fittings for the building.

The construction and equipping of the new crèche must be completed by the successful contractor by the end of June 2025.
