Székesfehérvár's twenty thousand square metre aluminium recycling plant inaugurated
On 10 September, the new Hydro Extrusion Hungary Kft. aluminium recycling plant in Székesfehérvár, the centre of Fejér County, was officially opened after nearly two years of work , writes Market Csoport LinkedIn- and Facebook posts. We last wrote about the work at the beginning of the special civil engineering phase in our newspaper in our newspaper (here we presented the tasks performed by HBM Kft.).
According to new information just released by Market, the now fully completed aluminium recycling plant has a floor area of 20 000 m². As part of the project, a 3-storey office building has also been built, with 400 m² per floor, for a total floor area of 1200 m².
To build them, the group has carried out a number of tasks to the satisfaction of the customer. They include
- excavation, deep foundations;
- monolithic and prefabricated construction;
- roof and facade cladding, insulation and mechanical works;
- electrical installations, coverings (PVC and resin);
- the painting and glazing tasks;
- road construction, asphalting and paving, and the construction of utility networks;
- as well as the installation of glass and curtain walls, building automation, IT network and CCTV.
To build the casting pits, work had to be done 14 metres below the surface
One of the biggest challenges of the project was the construction of the casting pits, the deepest point of which is at -14 metres, and the task also required the sinking of an additional 12 metres of steel pipe," the summary says. To manage the groundwater, Market Csoport constructed a slurry wall, while meeting tight deadlines and coordinating subcontractors working in parallel was a major professional challenge.
