Kispest's new apartment building is being built at a remarkably fast pace

Phase I of Triad Homes Residence was completed by the end of 2023 in one of Kispest's best-connected areas; and now phase II can be built with great momentum, with Épszerk Pannónia Invest Kft. responsible for the entire reinforced concrete structure. rel="noopener">Épszerk Pannónia Invest Kft. A total of 350 apartments will be available, with transport connections that are rare in the capital: several bus, metro and train lines will ensure that people can get to the city centre or the airport in a very short time.

The developer, general contractor H&R General Trading Kft. and TRIAD CONTRACTING CO. Kft., will also pay attention to the modernization of the apartments in this condominium, including the use of ceiling cooling-heating for the comfort of the residents. Access to the apartments is via an atrium with enclosed corridors.

The base album is ready

Not only have the piles and the girders that hold the piles together been installed, but the waterproofing base plate, the waterproofing perimeter wall of level -2 with all the vertical load-bearing reinforced concrete structures and the slab above level -2 have also been completed.

In September, the vertical load-bearing structures of level -1 (reinforced concrete walls and pillars) and the concreting of the slab above level -1 were completed in two phases. These works will be followed by the construction of the ground floor pillars and walls, so that the building is slowly taking shape, according to Ján Urbános, chief engineer of the ÉPI facility.

"Perhaps the only major difficulty was the open water drainage during the excavation of the piles and the base plate, as well as the construction of the elevator shaft recesses," said Bálint Szász, director of the ÉPI's structural engineering division: "the high ceilings on the ground floor and the custom thermal bridge break elements for the balconies in the ascending structure are a curiosity in the construction, which is progressing according to schedule.

As for the prefabricated structures, János Urbán explained in response to our question, "the staircases will be built in the ÉPI production plant, and this had to be taken into account in the design plans."
