Important agricultural development targeted in South-East Hungary

The renewed KITE sub-centre for land rolls has been inaugurated, strengthening the network of the company that links agricultural activities and plays an important role in back office operations.

The extensive refurbishment of the KITE Zrt. telecoms sub-centre has been completed, marking a major milestone in the company's infrastructure development, according to a company press release. KITE plays a significant role in the domestic agricultural sector as an integrator, buying crops, selling tools and industry staples, as well as seed, for example, and playing an important back-office role in the agricultural sector.

On 24 April, the opening speech was delivered by CEO Levente Szabó, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour of the site. The renovation of the sub-centre is part of KITE Zrt.'s ongoing development strategy to provide a higher level of service to the agricultural sector.

As a fitting finale to the inauguration ceremony of the renewed sub-centre, the ribbon was handed over to Samuel Kárai, the managing director of NÁDÉP Kft., Dr. Levente Szabó, CEO of KITE Zrt., Sándor Zsolt Guba, President of KITE Zrt. and Ferenc Ránkli, Mayor of Telekgerendás were presented with the award.

They are geared up for continuous improvement

The company has 20 sub-centres across the country. The sub-centre for land consolidation, located near Békéscsaba, has been operating since 1998 and plays a key role in the sales activities of the southern region and the company as a whole. New office building and client space

As part of the development, the old steel-framed warehouse was demolished and replaced by a modern two-storey office building. On the ground floor there is a 120 m² agronomic client area, two 24 m² offices and modern male and female restrooms. New black and white changing rooms with showers are also available for staff.

On the upper floor, there are three 32 m² offices and a 57 m² classroom with its own air handling system, a kitchenette and a server room. The energy efficiency of the building is ensured by gas appliances and heat pumps. In addition, a parking area for 15 cars has been created in front and behind the new office building.

The former office building has been renovated and converted

The investment included a complete general refurbishment of the existing office building, with new windows and doors, an upgraded mechanical system, energy efficient LED lighting and a modern electrical network. The building was given new cladding, painting and shading, and a modern, structured IT network was installed. The renovated property also includes several offices, a customer area for parts sales and a kitchenette.

Green technology also installed

As part of the project, the concrete surfaces of the site were repaired, a new fence was built and the dust storage area was insulated. The upgrading of the site's LED street lighting has resulted in significant energy savings. In addition, a 40 kW solar panel system has been installed, contributing to the sustainable operation of the sub-centre.
