Zugló's new shopping centre, Zenit Corso, will open in the second half of the year. The complex, built by Bayer Construct Zrt., will give a new impetus to the commercial and community life of the district.

Bayer Construct Zrt. is keeping to the planned deadline for the Zugló investment. It is being built next to the Bosnyák Square market as part of the comprehensive urban development project Zenit Corso. The shopping centre will welcome visitors from October this year with approximately 11,000 m² of leasable retail space. The development also includes office and residential areas.

The complex will soon have its final exterior and the interior will be ready to welcome the tenants of the shops. The exterior is still in the process of being fitted with suspended ceilings and paving, and a fountain will enrich the environment.

A special feature of the shopping centre is the perforated sheet metal cladding, behind which is a unique, easily replaceable LED lighting system with tracks. The facade is illuminated in the evening, giving the light that escapes through the slits a unique shape. The spectacular lighting test was captured on video.

The other buildings of Zenit are also in the final stages

The construction of six office buildings on the same site is now in its final phase. O5 has been completed, O6 is due for completion in May, O3, O4 and O7 are due for completion in June and O2 will be completed in August.

Between the individual facilities, spacious community and recreational parks planted with trees and shrubs, and a pedestrian street will provide comfort and tranquillity for residents and workers. The design of these is already underway, with the planting of the external works to be completed in October-November.
