Swiss company handed over a plant on the eastern edge of the Budapest agglomeration

They have added five halls to their premises, at a cost of HUF 8.5 billion.

The inauguration ceremony of the STOBAG took place in the morning in Sülysápo, Pest county:

The Swiss weatherproofing solutions company has built five new industrial halls on its site. The HUF 8.5 billion capacity expansion investment was supported by the state with around HUF 836 million, helping to create sixty new jobs.

 

Dynamically developing region, good business relations with Switzerland

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó also spoke at the event. In his speech he stressed, among other things, the positive business relations between Hungary and Switzerland. "In the past ten years, the government has provided financial support to 53 Swiss companies, such as Stobag, for a total of HUF 34 billion, and thanks to this support, investments worth HUF 560 billion have been made by Swiss companies, resulting in the creation of 4,800 new jobs," he said.

He also mentioned that Pest County is one of the fastest and most dynamically developing regions in the country, where unemployment has halved and industrial output has tripled over the past ten years, exceeding HUF 7,000 billion annually.
