The transformation of the outpatient care department of the University of Szeged may be carried out by FERROÉP.

A call for tenders has been issued by the University of Szeged has announced a call for tenders for the renovation of the Ambulance Centre and Study Labor. The contract, worth a total of approximately 68 million forints, was awarded to FERROÉP Fővállalkozó és Szerelőipari Zrt.. The company has 90 days to complete the work.

More comfortable waiting areas, better working environment

The primary task for FERROÉP is the renovation and conversion of the Ambulance Centre and AMC Outpatient Clinics for outpatient care in the basement of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Albert Szent-Györgyi Clinical Centre at the University of Szeged.

The area affected by the construction work on the healthcare building is 260 m², where architectural, mechanical and electrical renovations are required in order to improve the technical condition of the building and increase comfort through functional alterations. The work includes partial demolition, conversion, repair and modernisation of the building, as well as the replacement and new installation of certain elements.

The Study Labor is being renewed

The renovation and conversion of the rooms on the upper ground floor of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic at the Albert Szent-Györgyi Clinical Centre is the second part of the project, which involves scientific research work. The area affected by the construction work is 47 m2, where the contractor will be responsible for the conversion, renovation and functional modernisation of the specified interior rooms. The aim of the conversion is to create a better working environment, which will require the demolition of certain internal walls, the reorganisation of spaces, the modernisation of coverings, doors and windows, surfaces, lighting and mechanical systems, as well as the installation of new electrical and IT outlets.
