Road building
The continuation of the M76 road to Keszthely may be built
According to the announcement published in the EU Public Procurement Bulletin announcement published in the EU Public Procurement Bulletin, the client is awaiting bids for, among other things, the route survey for the design of the 2×2 lane main road connection and related facilities on Main Road 71 in Keszthely, as well as the preparation of an environmental impact study, permit applications and implementation plans.
Keszthely may join the motorway network
The M76 motorway would be extended from Fenékpusztas, leaving the peaty section for approximately 4 km. This would be designed in coordination with the almost 3 km long Keszthely 2×2 lane main road access, which has been included as a separate project element, for a continuous length of 7 km.
Design of bridges and interchanges included in the call for tender
The design tasks include, at the beginning of the section, the design of the reconstruction of the temporary end junction on the main road 76 into a necessary full grade separated junction, the design of the main M76 road for 4.1 km with a separated junction at the initial section with the design of bridge structures and then, instead of turning onto the marshy section, it will continue for almost 3 km towards Keszthely with a 2×2 lane design up to the roundabout junction of the main road 75.
Roads in the region would also be upgraded
The reconstruction of the section of the 71 motorway from the M76 motorway to the junction of the 71 - 71345 link road, for a length of about 2.5 km, is about to enter the design phase. The successful tenderer will have a similar task for the almost 3 km section of the 71345 link road to the Keszthely border. The tender also includes the reconstruction of the main road No 76 between the Fenékpuszta - Sármellék junction for approximately 10 km.
Plans for cycle paths may also be ready
The project includes the design of a 5.9 km long cycle path along the main road 76. The cycle path section from the end of the tourist attraction route north-west of the Fenyves Allé - Festetics Major to the main road No 76 will provide a direct, conflict-free tourist cycle path link between the Helikon Castle Museum and the Kis-Balaton Visitor Centre. The planning tasks include the planning task related to the phased implementation and phased renovation of the Keszthely-Vonyarcvashegy section of the Balaton Bike Circle, approximately 8.5-9 km in length.
The planning requires the study of the above project elements, the preparation of the design, the preparation of the EIA, the permit and the construction plans. In their preparation, the design methodology BIM shall be applied. The deadline for submission of tenders is 15 July.
