Soltút is working on the reconstruction of a five-digit road in Tolna county

Nearly 3.5 kilometres of the Kisszékely access road, marked 63117, is being upgraded using funds from the EU’s TOP Plusz framework, as part of the Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. project – according to the state-owned company Facebook post.

The work will be carried out by Soltút Kft. at a net cost of approximately HUF 551 million. The work will affect the section between km 4+078 and km 7+505 – the road will be resurfaced, bus stop platforms will be renovated, rainwater drainage will be improved and vegetation will be cleared. The work site was handed over on 4 June 2025, with a deadline of 120 calendar days.

As Magyar Közút stresses in its information note, the development is part of a national programme to upgrade five-digit deteriorated roads, which are often the only or almost the only road link between a village or sub-region and the national road network.
