Road building
The roads of the border towns of Fejér and Tolna counties are being renovated by Soltút
This week, the local council of Simontornya handed over the work site to the Bács-Kiskun county-based but nationally renowned Soltút Kft., based in Bács-Kiskun County but known nationwide, the work site for two busy sections of the town, Malom Street and Hunyadi Street, according to the municipality's official Facebook post. The work is expected to last until 4 October.
According to the construction contract, the roads will be completely resurfaced, the road embankments and bus stops will be completely renovated; the drainage system and parking areas will be partially renovated, they cite.
As stated in the Public Procurement Bulletin about the investment,
A total of 610 metres of Hunyadi Street and 1,880 metres of Malom Street will be renovated. The project is funded by the EU programme TOP Plusz.
