Catalysts for Resilience - international student ideas competition launched

The rules for international competitions set out in UNESCO and the UIA guidelines for architecture and urban planning competitions, the competition is organised by the Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE) and the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC).

Participants are invited to propose spatial interventions in areas of vulnerability, housing, inequality or future risks of collapse. Submissions should address how to strengthen resilience through adaptive planning strategies that use time as a central planning tool.

The competition is open to all full-time students of architecture, landscape architecture or urbanism, but preference is given to multidisciplinary teams with students from other disciplines as collaborators.
