Professional star parade at the joint event of the construction and real estate industries

The Proptech Innovation NOW on 16 May will feature an extremely strong line-up of speakers, according to a press release sent to this newspaper. The real estate development and construction industry conference has attracted more than 60 international and national speakers from the region. The event, now in its fifth year, will include a discussion with a representative of NEOM, one of the most monumental architectural projects of the 21st century.

The announcement stresses that the Proptech Innovation NOW will bring together the most innovative players in the construction and real estate industry for a full day of live events to promote the development of the Hungarian sector and the training of the profession.

Digital swallows in the lead, eager to share their experiences

"Slow adaptation and low-level digitalisation are a clear competitive disadvantage in all sectors" - the summary quoted Zoltán Kalmár, founder and CEO of Proptech Hungary Kft., the event's organiser.

"Fortunately, there are digital swallows in Hungary who are willing to share their experiences and from whom we can learn. My vision is to facilitate the digital catch-up of the Hungarian real estate market by sharing concrete knowledge and bringing stakeholders together."

He added that this is why he also considered it important to invite the representative of the regulatory side, Regő Lánszki, Secretary of State of Építési és Közlekedési Minisztérium.

They asked for people who do not just digitise at the level of words

More than 60 professionals joined the event as speakers for a full day in Budapest. Digital transformation across the enterprise and the entire sector will be addressed in several sessions: sustainability (including ESG and e-mobility), data-aware, artificial intelligence, construction (BIM, FM), and innovations in commercial real estate and residential property markets will be addressed in three rooms.

The report underlines that domestic digitalisation experiences are brought by those who have taken concrete steps to catch up in recent years and who are sometimes a few steps ahead of the market: ESG experts, innovators, tech gurus, start-ups present independent client- and developer-side case studies, solution proposals, developments.

"I know most of the speakers and their professional achievements personally - I only invite those who I know that the digitalisation of the construction industry and the real estate market is important to them not only in words and not only on the level of their own business: they educate and inspire" - shared Zoltán Kalmár's expectations of the speakers.
