Market Group reduces CO₂ emissions by 95 tonnes per year with electric cars

Nearly 30% of the Market Építő Zrt. fleet of nearly 600 passenger cars are hybrid or pure electric.

The fleet of Market Csoport fleet, which will reduce the group's local carbon emissions by approximately 95 tonnes per year, according to a statement sent to our newspaper by the group. The purchase of electric vehicles is a key step in achieving strategic goals.

The arrival of the new vehicles is equivalent to the carbon sequestration capacity of about 12 hectares of forest,

and is closely in line with the company's 5-year environmental and energy efficiency targets. In addition to greening its fleet, Market Építő Zrt. is continuously developing the necessary infrastructure to further support electric mobility, expanding the existing 14 charging points at its headquarters to 24 and installing more charging stations at construction sites.
